Rice crackers are a simple carbohydrate, meaning your body will convert them to glucose quite quickly. When we top the rice crackers with protein or fat, it will slow down this conversion a little. Think of this meal as a ‘sometimes’ meal, not a daily rotation. Sometimes a little bit of simple carbohydrate is good for the soul!
Rice Crackers with Avocado and Greens
- 1 avocado mashed
- 1 handful leafy greens
- 1 tomato sliced
- 6 rice crackers organic
